My characters are going to be four soccer fans. each of them will be dressed different to the other.

Aesthetics: tall, skin
colour palette- Warm
Accessories- scarf; blue shoes
personality: into soccer,fights if his national country team losses a game
Motivation: Neymar keep him motivated as he is form his country.
Relationship: Love Brazil his national country soccer team, hates Argentina.
Back story: Soccer made him the person who he is now

To make this character I will need to first make some changes on the character so this character will become mine. To do that I will need to use Photoshop and then I will need to learn how to use the pen tool in illustrator and scanner. I need to learn these skills because I am on the character side and in order to come out with that I have to learn these skills. I created character and did movement in blender but it wasn't successful and I had some issues. Therefore to prevent all these issues to come up again I decided to be on the character side.

This character is soccer supporter he supports Brazil his country's national soccer team. This character supports Neymar which is player that plays for his country.

NBA 2012 3D LIVE



 This An Android app NBA 2012 game. through all these game the game designer has shown the audience all wearing same clothes so that tells me that all the audience supporting one team and I think they are supporting one of the famous NBA team. Also some of the games are home games and away games.

















These are the teams in this game and I think the main team in this game is Chicago Bulls because on some of the stadiums there are flags written on them Bulls

In this fight there are only two audience think because this is training fight just at the start of the game and then level will keep going.













Soccer fans in a soccer Stadium



These are 3D model of soccer game audience. This is a season game and it is home game I think for Manchester United. Because the team wears red in the home game and through the audience i decided the team because most of the audience are wearing red.  Manchester United is an English soccer club. If this is not  Manchester United then it could be Bayern Munich because they as well wear red in their home games. Bayern Munich is a German soccer club. The negative thing about this game environment is the creator haven't written the name of the soccer club on the stadium. In most games such as FIFA 10 when you choose Barcelona as your team for the game when the player enter the stadium and Barcelona is playing home game then you will see on the stadium the sign of the club and the name of the club. The negative thing about the audience is that they are carrying only red flag but they should be carrying the flag and on the flag there should be the sign of the soccer club.
















The highlighted audience in this picture they all are the same character. This is makes it easy for the creator to create only one character and then copy and paste in another place. That will prevent the creator from making a lot of characters.








I think the big screen/watch should be at the back of the audience .

Task one:





STANDARDS :

The two standard that I used when I render my character in the settings are the render presets and the frame rate. In the render presets you will have many chooses to select and I selected the HDTV1080p so that my final video that I will be editing in after affects will be working on HD TV. The Resolution will be set to the selection that you made int he render presents and you should set it up to 100% as you see my resolution above in the photo. The frame rate will set the speed of the frames that you want them to be per seconds. As you see above when I rendered my character I set the frame rate to 24 frames per second that will keep the speed of my animation at the same speed throughout the whole animation. You should set you frame rate according to the frames that you have done.


 Conventions:
Walk cycle:
The walk cycle is one of the conventions in an animation. I did the walk cycle because through our project we had to choose three advance techniques and one technique that I did is animating which I did the walk cycle. As beginner blender user I found that the walk cycle is one of the easiest animation that I could do therefore I choose walk cycle as it is an advance technique which I had to do three throughout my project. I did the walk cycle so that I will make my character walk in animation. The walk cycle that I did is broken into 5 keyframes. I had 5 keyframes I divided them into 600 frames on the timeline. In each frame I did one movement according what is shown on the picture that I used. The first and last keyframes they are the same so when I got to the last frame I copied the first frame and paste it on the last frame.

Appeal:
"Appeal is the most subjective thing in blender. Designing character that audience finds engaging and entertaining. Characters hold more appeal when personality matches appearance, characters can be strong stage presence not only through the design but also through their movement."YOUTUBE. "Character appeal can sometimes be difficult to quantify. Appeal is to create a character that can be easier for viewer to process."PRINCIPLES OF ANIMATION: CHARACTER APPEAL. Therefore appeal is one of the conventions in blender that can help users to create a really advanced character and also the walk cycle will play big roll in creating advance character beside appeal, however you will need to do the walk cycle perfectly because when I did my walk cycle I had mistakes which my right foot was kind of going to the other foot and I think that had major effect on my character but I increased the speed of my animation and there was bit of effect on my character therefore speeding up my animation played big roll throughout my project.



Task Two:

The positive thing is that you are able to have full control over your animation such as choosing which folder you save you rendered images in and save them as .PNG or JPG but the most suitable one for animation is PNG therefore we had to choose PNG.


The negative thing is if you need your rendered animation to work on HD TV then you will have to make sure that you set the setting the matches the HD TV it has to be the same resolution as well as the HD TV's resolution otherwise it won't work on HD TV. Therefore if you know what you are doing then you won't have any trouble at rendering or compiling you rendered images in After Effects.

POST 6 

Rigging is an advanced technique that I used when I created my character. There are many advanced  tools in rigging such as creating with mirror tool, editing armature adding bones, and integrating when sticking the bones together.

Creating:
When I started creating my model I used an advanced tool which is mirror. The advantage thing of using mirror is when you are working on one side of your character you don't need to go over the other side of your character and work the same thing again. The mirror tool is very useful in blender to use especially the most complex thing that you are working on. An example of this is once I was watching video someone was creating a gun in blender. There are many complex parts in the gun and the mirror was very useful he had only to concentrate on only one side of the gun and it will be easily shown on the other side through the mirror. Therefore as a beginner blender user I belief that the mirror tool was really useful when I created my character and it helped my to save a lot of time to complete my character.

Editing:
I started editing when I used the armature tool and added bones to my character. I added one bone in the middle of my character then I stretch it to the middle bottom of my character then I started to copy and subdivide the bones. When I finished one half of the body then the mirror tool again played big role and I didn't have to pull and subdivide the bones again on the other side of the body. After I finished the whole body adding the bones I did my walk cycle then I add empty and made my character walking around the world in blender. Therefore armature is really advanced tool and it helped me to create my walk cycle through following the movement on picture.

Integrating:
Joining all the bones in the body is one of the advance tools which it called integrating. After I joined all the bones I started doing the walk cycle. At the walk cycle I started to move the bones and then then highlight the whole bones and record the movement in the timeline according to the time that had been given at the picture that I used.

Rendering is one of the advance technique that I used when I created my character.When I started rendering my model I used the tutorial that has been provided by the teacher. When rendering you need to do the setting which are highlighted above in the image. We have to set it as HD so then the video that I will do in after affects will work on HD TV. The Resolution will be set once you set the HD this will be set as the Resolution of the HD TV. Also before rendering you need to set the frame range according to your frames in blender. Frame rates you can select how many frames per second as you see above in the image I have chosen 24 frames per second and that caused my animation to become slow because I have long animation as you see it start at frame 1 and ends at frame 600.



 When you finish all the settings then you go done and choose as what you want your final render to be, as you see I've saved my final render as PNG. After that you will need to apply to the file that you want to save your final images then you accept and then you will click on the animation. Finally your work is rendering and you need to wait for to finish rendering then you are ready to the next step.


 Compiling is another advance technique I used when I finished my rendering. Compiling is when I started to put all the images together in After Affects making video.After it have finished rendering then you will open after affects and apply for new composition . Do the same settings that you did in blender before rendering your model. After that you will need to add another composition it will be already the same setting as the first one then you import your image. Then you go to the composition and add to render queue then click on the two composition and that will bring up file and then select where you want to save your video then after that you click on the render and your video start to save.
